The room of scents and tranquillity is a safe and cozy space for resting and strengthening emotional health. The multisensory equipment that gently stimulates the senses allows you to calm down, get rid of accumulated anxiety or aggression, and improve psychological well-being. The development of the senses helps to “return to oneself” and focus, frees creativity and imagination. This relaxation space is suitable for anyone who feels tension, experiences intense psychological experiences, lacks ways to calm down and wants to strengthen emotional health, and find balance. The room of scents and tranquillity, like all the spaces of the Pasvalys library, are adapted for persons with various disabilities – we are part of the “Library for all” initiative. A visit to the Room of Scents and Tranquillity is free.

It is possible to visit individually and in groups of up to 10 people.

Sauna rituals – the first steam, salt, bath broom massage, the final entry, are performed in complete silence. Classes are held individually or in groups by booking in advance. Orders can be made for various occasions (bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthdays). Duration about 3-4 hours. The sauna master can conduct classes in your sauna as well!

Those coming to the classes are recommended to have: sauna clothes, 1-2 towels, bathrobe, warm socks, sauna hat, slippers, light snacks.

The Outdoor Musical Instruments and Barefoot Path is a meaningful leisure activity for young people, families, and seniors. Barefoot path is a completely natural walking path surrounded by nature, where you can walk barefoot through sandy loam, natural moss, and rough pine cones. Outdoor musical instruments not only create a sound that you want to share, but also develop a person’s cognitive, emotional and mental powers.

The barefoot path is only open during the season.

A room that was never seen before was discovered in the dungeons of the museum. Getting in is easy, but finding the way back is not.

Gather a team of brave heroes and solve this great mystery! Here you won’t get help from your mother, nor a comfort from your grandmother, there won’t be any encyclopedias or reference books. Just you, your team, your mind, and adrenaline… All or nothing!

The cinema hall of Pasvalys Cultural Center is equipped with chairs adapted to this genre and other infrastructure, the latest films are shown without a set schedule, and events are held. Tickets can be purchased at TicketMarket.lt, at the ticket office of Pasvalys Cultural Center, and 1 hour before before the event. The hall has 49 seats.

Disc golf is an active recreation adventure. There is a 9-bag disc golf park. Disc golf is similar to regular golf, except instead of clubs and balls, we use discs of various shapes, weights and colors to hit special targets called baskets. It can be played in any weather and is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The game is charming with its gentlemanly ethics.

The optimal number of players is 4-6, up to 10 people can play at the same time. Up to 45 players can be accommodated.

Rauboniai water mill-wool carding mill-spinning mill – a water mill with grain grinding and wool processing technological equipment.

We conduct excursions “Rauboniai Mill” and “Path of the Wool”, the duration of which is up to 1 hour.

Wool felting training – felting of “shoes” or sauna hats, and other products. Wool bream, felts, and other wool products are available. Duration 4-5 hours.

We provide wool felting training. We invite you to visit the wool sauna. Felt sauna with a service of sauna master, duration 3-4 hours. Buns baked in the oven, Tatula river mint tea, coffee.

Visitors are introduced to farm animals, the peculiarities of their breeding and species, animals can be touched and fed, horse riding lessons are available. It is possible to celebrate private festivals. Education takes place in an open space, and visitors are always accompanied by an educator or riding coach. The infrastructure is partially adapted for people with special needs.

Halotherapy is a non-drug treatment that artificially creates a microclimate of salt mines with constant temperature and constant air humidification. The walls, ceiling, and floor of the salt room are covered with a layer of salt. Dry salt aerosol is blown into the room through special openings. The salt particles are so small that they reach not just the upper, but also the lower respiratory tract, and easily settle on the surface of the skin. Salt has an anti-inflammatory, broncho-relaxing, mucus-thinning effect, as well as protects the respiratory tract from infections. Being in such an environment has a positive effect on a person’s overall well-being. In the course of treatment, positive shifts in the immune system take place, immunity is strengthened, and resists bacterial and viral infection better.

Physiotherapy-fitness – exercises that restore the functionality of the body. During exercise, we learn to know our body, to understand the messages it sends. We work with the body: pelvis, chest, neck, shoulder girdle. Face: facial muscles, masticatory muscles.

Massages. Diagnostics is carried out by the method of manual muscle testing. Massages are selected individually. We perform: full body massage balancing the muscle tone, segmental massage, manual therapy of deep tissues, modelling body massage, manual facial plastic, segmental and full facial massage.

When you don’t know anything about a new city, the best way to get to know it is at the museum of the region. Museum of Pasvalys Region opened its doors in 1998 in the reconstructed premises of the former cinema Svalia. Get to know the history of the region, discover unique exhibits! Taking into account the trends of modern museology, education and cultural activities have become one of the priority functions of the museum. The museum offers more than 30 educational programs, organizes thematic excursions, organizes conferences, seminars, meetings with prominent personalities of Lithuania and Pasvalys. The exhibition spaces of the museum are perfectly suitable for various chamber events. About 30 exhibitions are organized in the museum during the year, where the works of Lithuanian and foreign artists – professional artists and folk artists – are displayed.

A cultural, educational, and information institution that provides a wide range of services to the community of Pasvalys District, as well as guests from Lithuania and abroad. There are traditional subscriptions and reading rooms for adults and children, as well as the Internet reading room of the Information Center. The spaces are adapted for people with individual needs – contributing to the “Library for all” initiative. The Center for Documentation, Research, and Dissemination of the Land Culture, the Land and Art Galleries, and the Writers’ Space – Jonas Mikelinskas Library and the interactive Marius Katiliškis Memorial Room, a modern Sound and Video studio, and the Philosophy Center of Professor Algis Mickūnas are open. There are also various creative studios, laboratories, and clubs. A network of teaching and learning services has been developed. E-library pasvalia.lt is being improved constantly – a virtual information system of the cultural heritage of Pasvalys Land. An Open Youth Center, a Children’s Space, a Family Room with a toy collection, interactive and traditional games, and a multi-sensory Room of Scents and Tranquility have been established.

Pasvalys Cultural Center gives every resident the opportunity to get involved in creative activities, encourages youth initiatives, ensures the activities of folk art and amateur art groups, the emergence of new modern amateur art forms, the implementation of innovative projects, meets the cultural needs of the community, and organizes the dissemination of professional art.
